Knowing how to backup WordPress EASY and pain free is critical to make sure that all the hard work you perform on your site is always saved in case of an emergency.  So we want to so you how to backup WordPress easy and PAIN FREE.

First of all here are the ingredients you need to Backup WordPress Easy:

A WordPress site of course with administrative access

UpdraftPlus plugin free version <~~~LOVE THIS PLUGIN

Less than 10 minutes of your time.  Nice right…;)

THE ONLY STEP – INSTALL BACKUP PLUGIN AND RUN IT

So this in the most important and only step in how to backup WordPress easy and pain free. We need to install the very best and only backup plugin you will ever need. To do this we will log into our site and install and activate the UpdraftPlus plugin. Go to Plugins > Add New > Search UpdraftPlus. Install and active it. Now visit Settings > UpdraftPlus and click on the BACKUP NOW button.

Once the backup process has completed, click on the the BACKUPS tab and you will see the files that were backed up. Was that easy or what?  That is IT!  You can see the images below that walks through the process described above.
